Basically, Fem!America is taking on the role of Persephone, Queen of the Underworld and wife of Hades in Greek Mythology.

She has some power over plants and flowers, and can make boxes filled with beauty. And, she has superhuman strength.

Otherwise, other than extreme devotion to her mother and to her husband she doesn't vary much from other Americas. She's bright, obsessed with being heroic and the center of attention, and loves to eat.

While it's just loose who goes where in the entire pantheon, I have the basic set up as this.

Hades is Russia. He's a weird, lonely God King of the Underworld. Other than other residents of his realm, who resent him, his only friend is his wife.

Demeter is Fem!England. A goddess of magic, harvests, and huge tantrums where she punishes people not even involved in what's pissing her off. Mother of Persephone, her daughter is the most important thing to her.

Zeus is probably France. Randy ruler of gods and mortals.

Hermes is either Estonia or China. Messenger of the gods and all around an alright guy, he's the one that finds a way to help Hades keep Persephone by feeding her three pomegranate seeds.

That's all I can think of for now! Put any thoughts or questions in this post and I'll get back to you when I can!

Somehow I picture Hungary as Artemis with perhaps nyo!Hungary as her brother Apollo. I would consider Athena, goddess of war for Hungary as well, but given she was Zeus' "favorite daughter" somehow I believe that role would fall more to either Seychelles or Monaco given the relation to France.

I'm not very familiar with Greek mythology but from what I've read Artemis is the goddess of the hunt and protector of children and women, which would make sense for Hungary as she was a very nurturing person toward young Italy and while she is one of the most masculine characters and can fight for herself she also accepts and embraces her femininity.

Nah it's cool I just wanted to throw out some ideas to you. Like I said I'm not too familiar with Greek mythology but from what you've wrote back and what I just looked up I can definitely agree with all that.

And I got the whole using male and female versions of countries for different characters. If I come up with any more ideas I'll be happy to shoot them your way. c:
